Horrible Five-Days War In South Ossetia

Sinister battlefield in the territory of one of the most burning military conflicts.

Georgian tanks destroyed the barracks from the distance of 150 meters.

Peacemakers’ first aid unit.

Which was also shelled by Georgian troops.

As well as the dining room.

Remains of the dining room which could seat up to 200 people.

Barracks from the inside.

Georgian tanks fired right from behind the cross.

The Russian flag still flutters.

In this spot the column rushing to help the peacemakers was attacked by Georgian troops. The monument is going to be erected here.

Three Georgian tanks have been destroyed.

At present the place looks like this, the road has not been reconstructed yet.

The only reminder of the horrific actions is a tank turret thrusted away by an explosion.
