A Journey Of One Boat

The story of a boat that was delivered from the city of Naberezhnye Chelny to the port of Murmansk on a truck.

The boat itself – 30 tonnes, two diesel engines.

Due to the huge size of this truck with a trailer it was necessary to define the route beforehand.

The bridge, as the locals say, was built in the Yekaterina’s time.

The town of Yaransk – a Russian beyond place.

The highway of federal purpose.

The snow by the road is untouched and so clean that one can even eat it!

The entrance to the Republic of Kareliya. Almost no cafes and gas stations. You can drive for half a day and encounter nothing.

The night was spent at the parking area near Kandalaksha – it’s -47C outside.

130 km from Murmansk. The truck couldn’t go under the bridge that’s why it was necessary to make a driving around.

The equipment from the nearby town failed to clean the road, so the help of a tractor made on the basis of a tank was necessary.

The city of Murmansk. The end of the journey.

Do you think it’s fog or smoke? This is exhausts from the Nickel Enterprise. On the mountain slope is like on the Moon – everything is burned out.
